Discover how durability gets measured
Vixa™ is the standard – one score, four measures, and the research behind every point of it.
Your baseline score, on us. Where you take it from there is up to you.
Durability is a business’s capability to withstand stress, internal or external, expected or not, and keep performing over time.
To See and Be Seen
A CEO/Founder gets a first-hand read on their own business — not instinct or guesswork. The people who could help it grow next — a lender, an investor, a partner — get to see it too, measured the same way every time, no matter who’s asking or who’s telling.
That’s what Vixa™ makes possible. A number strong enough to hold up on both sides of that conversation.
One Score. One Standard.
Vixa™ is TrueSpace’s scoring system for SMB durability. It’s built from four distinct measures: what the business is capable of, how well it executes, the progress it’s made over time, and how much evidence stands behind the score.
Together, they compress into one score – a clear, credible read on how durable a business is. Capture the score once, and you know where you stand today. Continue to build and report, and it becomes something more: your own trajectory, not just a moment. That’s the Vixa™ score.
Behind it is the Durability Report: the full picture behind that number – what’s driving it, and something real to act on.
How Vixa™ measures durability
What goes into the score – four components.
MEASURE 01
Capability
What the business is capable of — built on the Five Conditions Assessment™, drawn independently from the CEO/Founder and each executive.
MEASURE 02
Execution
How well the business executes against what it set out to do — actual activity and financials, not intent.
MEASURE 03
Progress
The progress made over time. One read tells you where the business stands; a series tells you the direction it’s heading.
MEASURE 04
Data Confidence
How much evidence stands behind the score — how complete and how corroborated the inputs are.

Trudy
Trudy is TrueSpace’s AI agent. It helps make sense of a Vixa™ score and Durability report — pointing to what’s driving the number and where to focus next. Trudy doesn’t do the work. It makes the data easier to understand and act on; the business itself still does the rest.
The research behind it
Capability — one of Vixa’s™ four measures — is built on the Five Conditions Assessment™ (5CA): the result of one of the largest research efforts ever conducted on second-stage businesses.
- 4 years of qualitative field research across 150 businesses.
- 2 years of quantitative modeling with Gallup® across more than 2,500 businesses.
- 4 years of field testing across 200 more businesses.
In testing, the 5CA™ predicted business outcomes — revenue, growth, headcount — far more accurately than traditional signals like industry, founder background, or company age.
Execution, Progress, and Data Confidence draw on their own inputs — a business’s actual financials, activity, and evidence over time — going beyond what the 5CA™ alone can show.
Once a score exists, it works both ways: a founder decides who to bring it to — a lender, an investor, the talent they need next — and whoever’s evaluating that business finally gets the same clear read and deeper visibility into the business.
